This is what I need:
For the pie dough:
– 110 g of butter at room temperature
– 50 g icing sugar
– 25 g almond powder
– 185 g of flour
– 1 pinch of baking powder
– 1 egg
For garnish :
– 150 g of Mamie Bio Salted Butter Caramel
– 40 g brown sugar
– 1 C. teaspoon cornstarch (maizena)
– 3 eggs
– 50g melted butter
– 100 g walnut kernels
Let’s get started!
For the pie dough:
1- Mix the butter in pieces, the icing sugar and the almond powder.
2- Add the egg and mix well.
3- Add the flour and baking powder. Mix and form a ball.
4- Refrigerate for about 20 minutes.
5- Preheat the oven to 170°C.
6- Roll out the dough on a lightly floured work surface and place it in a pie pan.
For garnish :
1- Mix the salted butter caramel, brown sugar and starch. Add the eggs and mix well. Gradually add the melted butter.
2- Pour the preparation over the dough and arrange the walnuts on it.
3- Bake for about 35 minutes.
4- Leave to cool before eating.
