This is what I need:
– 400g of firm tofu
– 80g of rice
– About twenty heads of broccoli
– 2 onions
– 2 tbsp of sesame oil
– 6 tbsp of soy sauce
– 2 cloves of garlic
– 1 tbsp of Extra Strong Ginger
– 2 tbsp of maple syrup
Let’s get started!
1- Mix in a receptacle the soy sauce, Extra Strong Ginger, maple syrup and crushed garlic cloves. Cut the tofu into cubes and add them to the marinade. Mix well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
2- Put oil in a pan. When the pan is hot, add the tofu and turn it over every 2 minutes to grill.
3- Cook the rice in a large saucepan.
4- In a second pan, heat the sesame oil and sauté the broccoli heads, the finely cut onions for 5 minutes. Add the tofu for 2 minutes.
5- Prepare the plates or bowls by first adding the rice and then the vegetable/tofu mixture.
The little trick
Add a few black sesame seeds, previously dry roasted in a pan.
